When Banned From TV dropped Big Pun was still alive, Nore was somewhat respected as a mc and people actually believed Jadakiss was ‘Top 5, dead or alive’. Swizzy’s beats sounded like they were made by martians with rusty soup cans and MPCs and Camron looked like he really cared about the words that fell out of his mouth while he was rapping. I think NORE killed it on his energy alone, remember how upset everyone in London was when he shouted out Tim Westwood? Although Big Pun did have that line about ‘bullets that hurt leave you double dead’, which I always thought was pretty cool. I think it’s pretty even to be honest, everyone killed it. What happened to Nature, though? He was so laid back and workmanlike with his delivery, but he always said some slick stuff. I wonder what he’s doing with his life now.
