Camden Town has been full of opportunistic shitheads for as long as I’ve been occasionally hanging out there (does that make me one? Possibly). All those celebrity indie pubs are full of amoral coke monsters with hanger-on type jobs and unhappy famous people who like to drink where they grew up. When those worlds collide it makes for bad things. No judgements, and innocent till proven guilty and all that, but Amy Winehouse’s choice of guys in clothes from the late 60s was pretty poor. Her ex boyfriend who wan’t Blake is being accused of rape. Gross.
